Franco Bastias, PhD
Franco Bastias is a social psychologist investigating the psychosocial processes involved in maintaining socioeconomic inequality, such as perceptions and legitimation of inequality, causal attributions, social representations, and prejudice towards economically disadvantaged groups. At Polinequal, he makes contributions to the measurement and analysis of relationships between perceptions of inequality, causal attributions, and emotional responses and actions to reduce inequality, particularly at the stage of survey studies and experiments (WP 3 and 4).
